Amberlee sat on a bench along the streets, her left leg swung over her right, her purse sitting calmly next to her as she continued to text right away. The phone vibrated almost every second as she continued to type away at light speed. There was something special about to go one that she was loving. Amberlee knew she wasn't allowed to participate in the games, it would be seen unfair and gyped, especially because she would make sure she won. Amberlee hated to loose. Amberlee didn't have control over the games and it frustrated her! She wanted to either participate or be able to run it like her father was. But no, he told her she wasn't to bother herself. He even told her just to be there and be the pretty face again. That frustrated her to no end. If she was going to run the Organization after him, she had to know how to run the whole thing. But his dirty work 'wasn't the place for a little girl'. Someday.... But while she couldn't control the ending of the games, she did have ways to make sure of somethings. Like, for example, a certain blond brat was formally invited to the games. Smirking, she read over a text before putting away her blackberry into her purse and standing up. Now... where could that little rat be hanging out on a day like today? Amberlee hoped she wasn't too far away, she didn't want to have to go treck all over downtown. Outfit

Nina was feeling particularly relaxed that day. The sun was bright and warm for approaching autumn - but of course she could thank global warming for that - and felt nice on her light skin. She was lying in the grass on a hill, her outfit completely devoid of any black, because how dumb would that be? She'd fry, for one, and secondly it always looked off if a blonde like her dressed all sketchy and whatnot.
Besides, black was for night when the predators hunted each other, and prey simply vanished in their tracks...
Her phone hummed, and she brought her fist down on it, not wishing to be disturbed. Or more correctly, not wanting any sudden attention to be on her. However, the humming had brought her back to her alert state, which was good, because Nina had to be especially careful nowadays.
Her carelessness had gotten her in quite some trouble, and she'd only just escaped with her head still attached and functioning. The message was from Ollie, a photographer for the Big Apple branch of the opposition. He was searching for her, with apparent important news.
Nina shot him a quick reply and silenced her phone before sliding it in her back pocket. Sitting up, she ran her fingers through her hair and looked around. It seemed Ollie was not the only one searching for her.
CEO kid was on the move - Lee, as Nina had called her. Perfect. Pulling an elastic off her wrist, she did her hair up in a preppy fashion, and decided that to run would make herself seem a coward. No no, let Lee walk into her own fate ... If there was to be a battle, Nina would not take the first shot.
But she'd make sure she had the last.

Amberlee didn't have to search long. Atleast Nina wasn't being a coward about it. The girl seemed like she was expecting Amberlee, which she liked in a way. If the girl knew what was good for her, she would do as Amberlee suggested and take the invite. This was important, to the town and to Amberlee. The Games were a big deal. They weren't hard for intellectual folks, but that wasn't why Amberlee was personally inviting Nina. She wanted the girl to come for a whole other reason. Nina wasn't afraid of Amberlee which usually meant two things: The person was stupid, or they knew too much. Nina was not stupid, Amberlee would never say it but the teenager was probably one of her best nemisis's, which only had on conclusion. They had to know too much. If she was in the Games, Amberlee could watch her directly. Smirking, she walked up the hill towards the blond she knew from miles away. "Wow, no black for you Nina? Are you in a good mood?" She snickered, standing only a few feet from the girl. Outfit

Nina watched CEO kid walk toward her, dreading their meeting as much as it thrilled her to have it occur. Every time she spoke to the girl, got close to her or looked at her from afar even, she was putting herself in danger. That much she knew and could not deny. Like a fact etched in stone. Everything else was theory, and when theory was not solid fact, Nina did not put all her marbles in the jar.
"I'm always in a good mood. Black is a necessity - not a fashion statement, Lee." Nina said sarcastically at first, but her tone hardened swiftly. She hated the kid. She was what?-Fifteen?- And was under the impression that she could do whatever she wanted because her daddy was some thick numb skull.
"Care to get to the point? I believe we wasted our last meeting with formalities, and to be frank, they bore the hell out of me." Nina said before Lee could speak. "Come on, or should I let you summon your invisible guards first. Can't have little Lee unprotected while she talks to the scary blonde chick, now can we."

Amberlee didn't care for the girls tone, but she brushed it off. She had far harsher tones taken towards her before, and Amberlee didn't care much that the blond didn't like her. Nina had a good reason not to like her, and if she stayed smart, she'd keep from going soft around Amberlee. Amberlee didn't like the nick name, it made it sound like a boy's nickname, but she bit the insides of her cheeks and pulled on a fake smile for the blonde. "Good Mood? be careful, some people might take your tone as hostility, rather than a happy mood." Amberlee spoke, smiling with venom dripping in her words. This girl got under her skin, but Amberlee made sure she wasn't the only one annoyed in this relationship. Amberlee rolled her eyes. She should get to the point, the longer she hung around this girl, the longer she was stuck trying not to claw out the girl's eyes. Besides, Amberlee had to go see a few of father's employee's then go to the factory. There were some last minute things she needed done before the games. She was about to speak when Nina cut her off, and Amberlee cocked a brow at her. "I don't need some bumbling body guard to keep me safe. Besides, we both know you're not stupid enough to hurt me." Amberlee sneered and pulled the envelope from her bag. "Now I bet I can assume you've heard of the games that Child's Play puts on every year. I am specifically inviting you, to participate." Amberlee held out the envelope to Nina with a smile, not caring if it looked evil or real, Amberlee just felt like smiling. "I hope you'll come." Outfit
