Amberlee sat on a bench right, sunglasses over her eyes and her long hair pulled up into a messy bun. She wore ratty jeans and a plain tank-top, hoping to go unnoticed by her goon squad. They had been playing this game for quiet a few hours so far and it wasn't going too well for them. Father insisted on them following her everywhere she went, he didn't want to see the face of his company hurt. Really, he didn't trust her to keep the beans. Like she would spill them to anyone, if anyone of those crazy protester/rebellion people found out a speck of what was really going on behind closed doors, the company would crumble.
Amberlee crossed her right leg over her left as she lifted up the magazine, trying not to look suspicious as two very suspicious goons passed her on the bench. They were about to loose their minds at this point, thinking they'd lost her. The two following Amberlee today weren't the smartest apples of the bunch, but they were new. Her usual followers had free days today. The other two usually acted like ninjas, staying at a complete far range, but still close enough so her father wouldn't fire them.
Standing, she began to walk in the opposite direction of the freaking agents. Amberlee wanted coffee, starbucks coffee! Expensive, overly milky, large as she could get, Strawberries and Cream Frappichino. YUM! Her mouth was watering just at the thought of it. She had to be careful though, last time she went to a coffee shop, she let slip her name to the barista who announced it to the crowd, who began to take pictures of her. That was a very hectic afternoon!
Amberlee was just about to round the corner and get her coffee like drink, when her elbows bumped into the elbows of someone else and rather hard. Amberlee recoiled, pulling her arm in close and looking to the person she had bumped into. Her glasses had fallen down to the brim of her nose, she hoped it was enough to keep her guise, despite how weak it was today. She did not need the screaming mad paparazzi catching wind of her whereabouts either!

Oliver was strolling through New york, his favourite city in America because he could get away with pretty much any stupidity and still receive little to no looks his way. It made snapping photos that much easier, because people automatically assumed that he wasn't capturing them, when in actuality, everyone was a model. Everyone was a potential suspect linked to the unexplained disappearances of 300,000 and counting.
It was ideal to capture someone's face, even more so to get a full figure shot. However, even shadowy, blurred shots had proved useful in the past. With his camera hanging from his neck, one hand on it always, Oliver pushed his glasses back into place and searched the crowds.
New York was always busy, but Time Square was a nightmare for anyone in a car. Traffic was backed up again, and people were weaving through them because they knew they wouldn't risk being hit any time soon. Oliver too cut across, at a relaxed pace as he continued to grasp photos.
On the other side, he decided randomly that he wanted a drink, and back tracking to turn into the Starbucks, when he collided with someone. Right, because he totally couldn't see that one coming. Oliver rolled his eyes at himself, and turned to offer his apologizes should the person still be there. Odds were against him, but hey, he was raised to be polite always.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't thinking at all-" his voice caught as he realized who he'd bumped into. Oh crap, he though. It was the daughter of the CEO of Child's Play. AKA, the number one suspect linked to the disappearances of america's people.
He could feel his hands clam up, and suddenly felt very hot. "I'm beyond sorry Miss. Please, it'll never happened again." he explained in a rush, all the while waving his camera around, simply because he always used hand gestures when he spoke.

Amberlee didn't move. This could be the moment she took out all her frustration on an innocent person and was scolded for it, but she didn't care. If anyone saw her and made the connection, even gave the slightlest announcement that she was who she was, she would have no mercy! If they proved to be able to out her to the guards looking for her or to the public in this very 'un-Amberlee like' clothing, she would be in beyond trouble. It was all about image to everyone, especially father. He didn't as much hate the fact if she escape her guardians, but escaping them only to be caught by public eye making a scene. It wasn't good for the company. So when she turned in her sneakers to the man/boy she'd hit, she prayed to anything he didn't say anything and just kept walking.
Unfortunately, luck hated her along with any god like beings controlling the universe. For the boy did say something and he did see her. Cursing inwardly, she held her breaht in the silence. He had stopped apologizing but that wasn't what scared her. It was the camera. The camera around his neck had her whole attention. If he even went for it, there would be 5 seconds before she found her cell-phone and called in reinforcements.
Eyeing him, she let him continue to rush his words before eyeing the near dead street. After assuring herself that no one else was looking, her hand shot to his hands and his camera. A death like grip on his palm, forcing the camera to keep it's focus off her, she narrowed her eyes at him.
"Please.... stop waving that thing around like that, you're only going to get me and yourself in trouble, clear?" She snarled before straightening up. She probably shouldn't have said that but she figured he knew who she was. She had to assume he did, by the way he instantly apologized to her like she could be the death of him. Which she probably could!
Only, that's when her eyes caught the image of a rather large man she knew too well. Time to start moving again, but she couldn't allow this boy to speak of his sighting of her to the man now searching for her. Furrowing her brow, she pulled on the man's hand, attempting him to come with her.
"If you walk with me, and hold that camera still, I will assume you never bumped into me, and when we finally part ways, I will have no idea you even exist? Sound appealing to you?" She whispered to him, turning to stand beside him. Her eyes darted behind her before cocking an eyebrow at him, "well?" She rushed.

Oliver looked from the girl to his camera and blushed. He totally could've gotten her picture a million times over because he never used his flash... No, bad thoughts. She was one to be handled with extreme care. Wildly catching photos of her would so end in his disappearance. Clearing his throat and moving the camera mostly behind his back, Oliver apologized, "I'm sorry. I'm an animated speaker, I'm always being told." he chuckled, his finger moving off the shutter button. No need for her to get overly suspicious.
Oliver listened to her proposal, glancing this way and that in an attempt to determine the sudden cause for it. This was the CEO of Child's Play's daughter! Why would she even begin to talk to him? However, the rewards and risks in this situation were balanced, and Oliver had to make a decision. Loads of rebels would die for a chance to get to this girl, and he'd done it.
Then again, loads of rebels had also gone missing when they got just a bit too close. He could practically hear a voice saying, 'Go but be alert - Paranoia is better than relaxation...'
With a deep breath he nodded, "You got a deal. May I?" he asked, linking his arm to hers. "I assume whomever you're fleeing won't expect you to resemble a tourist? I could just point my camera everywhere, catch pictures of stupid things like that pizza place - They wouldn't suspect a thing.
"Of course, if you're really so opposed to photos, I could turn it off and do the same. There just wouldn't be any proof of this awk experience." he laughed with a grin.

Amberlee adjusted her tank-top, pulling her sunglasses down to cover her eyes. As long as the camera was not pointed at her, it would be okay. Aslong as there was no proof, she could survive this little outing with a random stranger and go back home without a word otherwise. When he explained about being animated, she cocked a brow at him but let out a sigh. He could just have been scared by the fact it was her. Everyone knew who she was, she was on the side of busses, bilboards, on tv, she was everywhere. Also, anyone smart knew who she was other than that. Eyeing him suspiciously, she kept herself tense. "I would have that habit checked out, it could be see as something else at times..." She warned, looking away from him. Amberlee didn't want to give away the fact she almost had him picked up and shipped away without a notice, but then again it didn't actually work that way. People thought you walk away then all of a sudden you're gone, but there's more work put into it, and Amberlee didn't feel too much hate for this man to send him off. He was just being an idiot. Amberlee took his arm gentle, barely holding onto it as her feet began to walk off down the street. If he was smart, he would never talk of this to anyone else. Amberlee didn't want to be seen with someone like this man, but then again, it would be better than being spotted by the guards. Pushing a loose strand of hair out of her face and looked to the man who was talking. Suspiciously eyeing him then his camera, she bit her lips to keep from laughing. "Atleast I chose someone who thinks ahead, to hide with." She snickered, "Take as many random photos as you wish, just not of me." She looked right at him directly. Shooting a glance around them, she found they weren't people of interest, but it was best not to give herself up just yet. "It's only going to be awkward if you make it awkard." She smiled at him with a shrug. The streets weren't crowded, and the ground was dry, the air wasn't obnoxiously loud. It seemed to be a calm night, but just a few moments ago Amberlee had felt her heart racing. "I have to know... what did I interrupt you from getting at times square?" She asked, looking to a large theatre sign, looped purple scrawl spelling out a french play. Amberlee knew basics of the language, she was good with most basics of languages, but she didn't have any idea what the sign said. "Do you speak French?" She nodded at the theatre with french words.
